Immanuel partners with Divine Destiny Ministries (DDM) in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, to make disciples, train leaders, and start churches. DDM is led by Pastor Joel Sengoga, who has dedicated his life to proclaiming Christ through church planting. Through our relationship with DDM, Immanuel will help encourage and equip the church, as well as evangelize alongside DDM in Kigali and surrounding communities.

Immanuel will serve DDM by helping with children and youth activities, couples’ seminars, teaching, training, and evangelism.

In 1994, centuries-old animosities between the largest tribes, the Hutus and Tutsis, led to genocide that killed between 500,000 and 1,000,000 people in this small country in the span of 3.5 months. While considered a Christian nation, few Rwandans have a personal relationship with Jesus. The need is significant for the Gospel and healthy churches.
