Immanuel partners with Jim and Rachel Britts and their church Parkside Church in Oceanside, California. We assist the work in North County in various ministry opportunities to engage families through community events, share the Gospel at these events through personal conversations, and connect families to Parkside Church for ongoing discipleship. Three common values that they have instilled throughout their ministry are no perfect people allowed, big expectant prayers, kids come first, and Kingdom expansion.
Oceanside, California, is about an hour’s drive north of downtown San Diego and just short of a two-hour drive south of Los Angeles. The massive Marine base Camp Pendleton borders the north side of the city. This area is better known as North County San Diego, where less than 10% of the over 3 million population claim to be evangelical believers.
Less than 10% of the over 3 million population of Oceanside/North County San Diego claim to be evangelical believers. Less than 60% say they will never go to church.

Through the life of this partnership, Immanuel has mobilized over 100 of our own through 6 different GO Teams and multiple GO Internships. Through these GO efforts, we have served 1,725 people, with 1,400 hearing the Gospel and 148 praying to receive Christ. An additional 22 locals have been trained in evangelism and disciple-making.
